The hotel is very modern and would be my top choice in Kyoto next time. the breakfast was delicious and offered a great value with a wide selection of food. - the staff were always patient and helpful. - the location is very convenient and ideal, as it is close to train and subway stations, making it easy to get around.

The rooms were a bit small and lacked sufficient space to open suitcases. It was inconvenient not to have a hot water boiler in the room, and carrying boiling water from the ground floor to the room was not practical.

The attention to detail really impressed me, from the thoughtful inclusion of a free mobile phone to the availability of public baths on the 7th floor. The showers in the room were a great touch and much appreciated. The room size was more than adequate, particularly for Japan, and the lack of a room safe was a minor inconvenience.
